  • does anyone know a way to prevent someone from being able to burn a CD that you give them? - is it possible in Roxio? I have never tried but a coworker was asking me about it. so i told her that i would see what i could find out.

No. If it were, I'm sure the record companies would've figured it out by now.

Have you checked to see how much licensing SecuRom or SafeDisc costs?

No. I believe there is a way in which record companies can do it, but in your case it is not possible.

True, but they can make cd's that I think open up on your computer as Flash and you cannot even put them on your computer.
EDIT: Unless you really know what you're doing.
Eh, True. I hate the flash CD's. They will still usually put the real files somewhere on the disk, not always though.

Ya, it's weird because I have had a couple cd's where I could not find files to put onto my comp. I have found them on other Flash CD's. I do not understand why they wouldn't always do this.
