The Buckeyes' QB says Saturday's Michigan State game was his last ever home game.

While it can't come as much of a surprise, in the aftermath of Ohio State's gutpunch 17-14 loss to Michigan State, Buckeye faithful got some potential less than stellar news.

As he's done since the beginning of his career, OSU backup quarterback (and former starter) Cardale Jones made news from his personal Twitter account tweeting, "Last time walking down them steps and into The Shoe, wish the results were different tho".

Cardale led Ohio State to the 2014 national championship after injuries to both Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett. He won the 2015 offseason quarterback competition and remained the Buckeyes' starter until the Rutgers game. Barrett was suspended for an OVI violation during OSU's bye week and Jones briefly regained his starting role but continued to perform with mixed efficacy.

Though Jones (largely unfairly) drew a lot of heat from Buckeye fans this past season, whether he decides to use his final year of eligibility in Columbus, elsewhere, or goes pro, OSU faithful should remember the good times. Without the play of "12 Gauge", there's almost no way Ohio State brings him the first ever College Football Playoff trophy.
