BYU Player loses fingertip

During the ND game last week. Says he may have gotten it pinched between helmets. Lost about 3/4 of the nail part of the fingertip.

been there, done that (justed smashed between facemasks, not torn off though). and yes, it hurts but not for days, for weeks.

I'm sure there are more that have, but one that comes to mind is Ronnie Lott. He had his amputated from getting it smashed between helmets.

I had part of my pinky finger cut off on a meat slicer and that bleed like freaking crazy. It didn't hurt at first since the cut was so clean.
