Buckeyes on several of Fox Sports 100 greatest bowl moments..

40. Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel — Ohio State's bang up performance in the Fiesta Bowl enhanced Tressel's reputation as a big game hunter and earned him a noteworthy leg up on Charlie Weis and Notre Dame. Tressel's entire staff, in fact, did a terrific job preparing the Buckeyes for the Irish.

JT = Big Game Hunter

nice to see Kudla getting some props as well.

JT = Big Game Hunter
Of course, we all knew that already. He was 23-6 in postseason games while coaching Youngstown St. That includes the 63-20 thumping of Alcorn St in 1994 -- the year that Steve McNair lit up the NCAA record books, was the 1st team AA QB, finished 3rd in the Heisman voting, etc ... etc ...

And JT only had one week to prepare!

17. Ohio State WRs Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn — Well, you can't coach speed, and you can't catch speed, either. Notre Dame learned those lessons firsthand in the Fiesta Bowl. Holmes, and particularly Ginn, were electrifying — combining for 364 yards from scrimmage and three long and demoralizing touchdowns on just 13 touches.

To be accurate, they had 15 touches from scrimmage to account for those 364 yards - Ginn's 2 runs for 73 yards have to be included. Ted had 8 catches (167 yards) and Santonio 5 for 124.

Totalling 435 all-purpose yards on 20 touches, they also had 5 returns for 71 yards (3 KR for 51 by Santonio, and 2 PR for 20 yards by Ginn).
