COLUMBUS, Ohio - A total of 12 current Ohio State baseball players are participating in summer collegiate leagues this year, including pitcher/outfielder J.B. Shuck on the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League. Shuck is 1-0 so far this season. Several other Buckeyes are playing closer to home in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, including three for the Columbus All-Americans (Ryan Dew, Jake Hale and Cory Rupert) and a pair for the Delaware Cows (Brian DeLucia and Cory Kovanda). Eric Best also is playing locally for the Licking Valley Settlers of the Granville League, while a trio of Buckeyes headed south to play for the Cincinnati Steam (Tony Kennedy, Zach Hurley and Darren Sizemore).
