Buckeye De La Salle Brother in the midsouth
After seeing Jerry Lucas included in Charley Rosen's list of underrated NBA players (http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/3885926?GT1=7409) and reading comments at BN by some younger Buckeye posters, I thought it might be a real Buckeye blast from the past if.....
Channel 4 aired some BB TV broadcasts in its archive of Buckeye games from 1960-62. I can remember watching many of the games with Jimmy Crum's "How 'bout that sportsfans?" sprinkled liberally throughout the play-by-play. Channel 10's airing from "The Woody Hayes Show" archive was great. It would be equally great for some of the younger Buckeye fans to see Luke, Hondo, Mel Nowell, Larry Siegfried, et al.....and the great Fred Taylor in action. I was a grade-school kid during those glory years (1960-62) and was lucky enough to see those Buckeye legends play in St. John Arena.
