    The baseball team opens its 2008 season Friday at 2 p.m. against Arkansas State in the first game of the Service Academies Spring Classic in Millington, Tenn. The first weekend of the season?s action runs through Sunday Feb. 24 and includes games against Memphis (2 p.m. Saturday) and Seton Hall (11 a.m. Sunday).

    ? Who's back? Three starting pitchers, Dan DeLucia, Jake Hale and J.B. Shuck. Catcher-first baseman Justin Miller was second on the team in batting in 2007 with a .346 average. Tony Kennedy and Ryan Dew are solid at 3B and 2B, respectively.
    ? Who's gone? CF Matt Angle, C Eric Fryer and P Cory Luebke left one year early after being drafted by major league teams. Jason Zoeller, a four-year starter as a middle infielder, used his eligibility.
    ? Who's new? Redshirt freshman Dean Wolosiansky, a 6-foot-5 right-hander from Uniontown, Ohio, will get a chance to make an impact as a starter. Dan Burkhart, a true freshman from Cincinnati Moeller, will get a long look at catcher.
