In episode 118 of Bucketheads, Connor and Justin are back to recap a busy week for Ohio State men’s basketball. Once thought to be key returners and pieces on the 2024-25 team, Felix Okpara and Roddy Gayle Jr. are officially no longer Buckeyes.
Okpara entered the transfer portal over the weekend after originally saying he would be returning to Columbus for his junior season. We discuss what the Buckeyes need to do now with two spots available moving forward, and how to fill those after losing Okpara and Gayle.
In the second half, we welcome John Fanta from Fox Sports to talk about all things Ohio State. We discuss the hiring of Diebler, why it was a great move by Ross Bjork, the Buckeyes’ three transfer additions thus far and how he sees the Buckeyes performing next season.
