Browns Fans torn this weekend.

Not sure where to post this, or if it needs it own thread, but just a couple thoughts that I have after talking with a couple Browns fans.

Who are you guys rooting for this weekend.

One team that is one of your most hated rivals, that you dispise everything about.

One team that has ripped your heart out in the playoffs on more than one occasion. Not sure if the hate is still there since Elway is gone.


The guys I talked to said they don't even know if they are going to be able to watch.
 
As a Bengals fan, I don't really hate any team left this year. I'm picking a Panthers vs. Steelers Super Bowl.

I'm rooting for Bettis to get a ring more than rooting for the Steelers though.

Yeah - the big fella gets a nod from me as well. Bettis to get his ring on his home turf in likely the last game he ever suits up.

And, though I am a Bengals fan there is no way I can pull for the Bronco's -- too many bad memories of Elway's late come backs destroying the chances for a team from Ohio to get into the Super Bowl.

Oh, and I say Seahawks vs Steelers - still a Steelers win in Detroit.

I used to hate the Steelers, but the rivalry of old is not the same. Now I cant stand the Ravens even more than the Steelers. This whole mess ( loseing in AFC championship game, having the team stolen from us, ect) can be bllamed on the Broncos and Elway. While he is no longer there, my thoughts go back to what could have been. To top it off , my coworker revels in the demise (his words) of the Browns. He by the way is a die-hard broncos fan. Thus Being that I prefer old school ball (Woody ball) Im rooting for Bettis to get a ring. That and I like to support locally raised players (such as Big Ben of Findlay) as long as they arent playing our Beloved Browns.

The wounds of the old rivalries still haven't healed for me. I have always hated the Steelers AND the Broncos. It is not quite as bad as, but somehow similar to the ND-scUM game. I want NEITHER to win. If I HAD to choose, I would still choose neither. I hate both teams and I hate the Ravens. I don't want Bettis to get a ring. Best case scenario, Denver beats Pittsburgh and, once again, loses in the superbowl.
