Brock Lesnar to fight for PRIDE in october.

It should be interesting to see how he does in this. In October i'm sure they'll face him verse a nobody that he can crush in order to build up even more hype and give him more time to train, his second fight should be interesting though. He has been training with Team Miletich for awhile now.

Brock is training with Royce Gracie for an upcoming fight in K-1. He has been at the Miletich training camp, where he has looked impressive. He looks to be a upcoming force for UFC's heavyweight division. Which is good since they need good heavyweight fighters real bad.

Too bad for Brock. He trained so hard and caught like a newb. He should have gotten a warning though and not a point taken away. He looked very powerful, but Frank is way too good from his guard to have that many opportunities.

Yeah the moment he got up on his feet (right before the knee bar), I thought he's screwed up.

Once he had him down and in the guard, keep pounding on him. Brock was too strong for Mir to get the arm bar (or maybe too quick is a better term), but Mir was a bloody mess even as it was.....

Yeah, Brock is such a beast, but even his hammerfists weren't really getting in there. I hope to see him come back stronger because I know he trained for over a year, and this was not what he was looking for.

Guess who had the biggest payday despite not getting a win bonus? Not surprising as he probably brought in a majority of the revenue for this event.

MMAJunkie:

The full list of salaries included:
  • Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira ($200,000) def. Tim Sylvia ($100,000)
  • Frank Mir ($80,000) def. Brock Lesnar ($250,000)
  • Nate Marquardt ($52,000) def. Jeremy Horn ($25,000)
  • Ricardo Almeida ($40,000) def. Rob Yundt ($5,000)
  • Tyson Griffin ($36,000) def. Gleison Tibau ($11,000)
  • Chris Lytle ($24,000) def. Kyle Bradley ($4,O00)
  • Tim Boetsch ($12,000) def. David Heath ($6,000)
  • Marvin Eastman ($14,000) def. Terry Martin ($12,000)
  • Rob Emerson ($16,000) def. Keita Nakamura ($5,000)
All the winning fighters received pay that awarded 50 percent ?to show? and 50 percent as a ?win bonus? ? except for Lesnar, who would have earned a $200,000 win bonus.
