here's my poll. feel free to pick it apart or ask any questions:

  • 1. texas (starting to click pretty good, may never lose again)
  • 2. florida (georgia has quit on richt. smoking them not that impressive anymore)
  • 3. iowa (winning ugly is still winning. they figure out a way every saturday. has 3 wins against teams ranked in BCS)
  • 4. bama (bad week to have a bye. can get climb again with a win saturday)
  • 6. cincy (being the best in the Big East is kinda like being the best tasting pile of horse shit)
  • 7. oregon (probably best win of the year so far by any team)
  • 8. lsu (hung with BCS #1, but hasn't really played anyone else. tough to gauge. beating bama would shoot them up the charts a little)
  • 9. tcu (see my thought on cincy, except its the MWC)
  • 10. boise (i only use head to head if i consider two teams to be similarly ranked. so no i don't feel bad about putting them behind oregon)
  • 11. penn st.

Had to go ND this week, only because a lot of other teams lost. Va Tech I'm sure will be back, but I don't have them ranked this week because they've looked poor the past 3 or 4 games, really.
