BP Poll - need "Alternates"

OK, so this being the inagural season for us pollsters we're having some growing pains. Turns out that some people, me included, have "real world" obligations from time to time that prohibit timely submission of our ballots. Thus, K Buck and I are looking for 10 "alternates" to also submit ballots.

Shoot me a PM if you're intersted, and I'll send you the info and ballot.

The deal is this, everyone who has a vote currently (The original balloteers) will always have their ballot counted IF it's on time (New HARD deadline of Monday 5:00pm.) If, however, we don't have the full number of ballots, we will use the "Alternate" ballots up to the total number of voters. (27 I think it is, though I forget at the moment)

First come first serve, except that there is one person out there who asked to be an alternate back in week 1, and I forget who it was for sure. I think I remember, so if its you, send me a PM and I'll remember. (That is, I have a good idea who it is, but I'm not sure) Anyway, this person, since they asked way back when will get a shot if he wants it.

Assuming we then get enough ballots by 5:00 on Monday, we can have this poll up more consistently on time.

Oh, and so it's clear, ALL ballots, original balloteers and Alternates, are due Monday, 5:00pm.

I was thinking you could just ding people that didn't get them in on time. Unless they tell you on time that they won't get it done that week.

It's all about motivation.

and get the entire brute squad to hand out dings to that individual. anyone can survive a ding, but an entire UserCP of red, now that's motivation.

You know what's bad, I received the mass PM you had grad21 forward, and said to myself, "Self, these idiots really need to get their ballots in. What's the point of having a poll if you don't release it until the day before next week's game? I'm sure glad I did mine on Monday."

Of course, I did do my poll on Monday...but I also just realized that I haven't yet emailed it to BP. Oops. I shall do that directly...even though it's likely useless now. :lol: Sorry, bro.
