BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Am currently considering any and all trade offers for Josh Beckett. A bag of roasted, no salt peanuts would be preferred for this washed up piece of shit that came into this year with a new, fourth pitch: Which I learned last night is a belt high, BP fastball.

No, Beckett already had perfected the Terminator. The problem is now he doesn't want to throw it because he'd rather try and throw the hibernator, or the out-of-stater, or the see-ya-later, or whatever the fuck nickname he has for his new cutter, which is 85mph and flat.

Sounds like the masturbator and from the numbers it seems to be a pitch that my boy Lester is trying to perfect as well.

Whole lot of suck coming from the Saawx so far.

Beckett's ERA & WHIP contributions to my club for the fantasy season thus far by week: 6.17/1.80, 0.00/0.71 (I'm calling this one the outlier), 9.00/1.71, and 24.00/4.00.

What is hysterical is that the Sox are 4-1 in games Beckett has started, factoring in last night's 13-12 pitchers' duel.

Since I'm currently in first place I'm going to abuse my power, lock down all of the teams, bench everyone else's players and await my coronation in the fall.

Thanks for playing, suckers.

Dallas Braden with the perfect game (which, sadly enough, seems to be the only way one of my pitchers can get a Win).

Congrats to him!
I had Buehrle last year and Ubaldo Jimenez this year. The perfect games and no hitters are nice ... as long as you don't have an asshat like Josh Beckett and his 15.00 ERA starting on the same night.

Also had the Freak get a No Decision for the 3rd time in a row when he has left the game with a lead.

Which is always nice.
