Fantasy League - All Buckeye Fans

I'm looking for one team to complete a yahoo fantasy baseball league with a live draft tomorrow evening (Monday). Standard 5 x 5 head to head league. All the managers will be active and they are all huge Buckeye fans. Free league, playing for bragging rights. Most of the managers are experienced but certainly don't take it too seriously. PM me if you're interested and I'll send the league information.

Looks like we have a 12 team league this year, putting a little more emphasis on the draft with fewer potential stars on the FA list.

Let's all try to be active the entire season. No ghost teams, please. :)

Funny, because all the "stars" I drafted last season wound up injured, and the roster filler I grabbed through FA wound up carrying my team. Kendry Morales absolutely raked last season! Who knew?!

It seems to always go that way.

I grabbed Tuliwitski (sp) off the waiver pile after they confirmed a complete vaginal tear for Reyes last year and did fine with him.

All I know is the Reds have a chance this year and the Cards are in the way. If I get the top spot in the draft Pujols can just go ahead and call it a career, if its a lower pick then Carpenter's injured man walking. I'll swing around later for Holliday and Wainright.

The fact that Morales went undrafted last year shows we weren't deep enough. He entered the season as the starter with a strong, albeit unproven at the MLB level, pedigree. In deeper leagues, he got drafted late...including by me in a couple of them. :wink2:

Person with the hottest chick in their avatar goes first. People with cartoon characters forfeit their 1st round pick to the person with the hottest chick in their avatar.

Pretty standard stuff.
