I think if you look at the overall stats, many teams are still in it. Several of the categories that I'm leading in are only by a couple counting stats. I'm down for whatever, but I'm enjoying the roto & not because I'm in first. I think a screenshot of the entire season is more telling than a week to week basis. But again, I'm down for whatever when it comes to future seasons.

I think these are the main pros and cons to both.

Roto:

Pros- The best team is going to win because they have proven it with a full year’s worth of stats.

Cons- Teams that fall behind early may want to give up earlier because they don’t feel they can make up ground.

Head-to-head:

Pros- May seem more inclusive because 60% of the league has a chance to win in the playoffs. This may lead to more teams “trying” down the stretch.

Cons- The best team(s) lose due to one bad offensive or pitching week after performing better for the entirety of the season to that point.

After having clearly the best offensive team last year in the league and losing (again) in the finals, I was ready to try something different. While I do like roto because it is more of the purists game and I enjoy the best team wins approach, I do have to admit that head-to-head is more exciting even when it doesn’t go my way.

Maybe we should have a vote at the end of the season to see which format should be used next year?

You did and I hope you meant to! :lol:

When looking at your team, you have Harris as your starting CF but he is on the IL. You can move him into one of your IL slots, then pick up another player without having to drop one if you want to.
