Welcome to BP... we try to keep posts like these to a minimum. Discussing and contrasting tidbits of information is one thing, but warm fuzzy feelings are also how junior high kids describe whether or not they think suzy Q likes them.

this is not direted at anyone in particular, but a good time for me to rant a bit.

there are a lot of silly things said on message boards. most of them dont annot me as the posters are usually some lifeless malcontent with nothing better to do.

however, there is one type of post that irritates me for some reason and i just dont know why. it is when posters that tend to be regulars on a particular board, not flamers or Tibor, carry on about a particular recruit or situation, showing no true line of logical thinking, following it up with "i hope i'm wrong."

here are some examples I recall:

Chris Wells seems to like michigan far more than osu. Its going to hurt to lose him when we have zero rb depth. I hope I'm wrong.

Brian Robiskie and Donald Washington are reaches as recruits. I don't see them doing anything to contribute. I hope I'm wrong.

I think we're going to see a lot more guys get arrested as a result of the Skeete incident. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't know why such posts irritate me so. This is nothing against freddy here, but his post just caused me to want to rant on the subject.
