College Football Bowl Ties, Affiliations For Each Conference 2022-2023

Big Ten Bowl Tie-Ins, Affiliations
The Big Ten Champion will automatically go to the Rose Bowl if it’s not selected for the College Football Playoff. If the top Big Ten team is in the CFP, the highest-ranked available team is in the Rose.

The Big Ten alternates with the SEC between the Las Vegas Bowl (2021, 2023, 2025) and Duke’s Mayo Bowl (2020, 2022, 2024). This year, the Big Ten is expected to go to the Duke’s Mayo after Wisconsin played in the Las Vegas last season.

On other note, the San Francisco Bowl against the Pac-12 that was canceled over the last two years due to COVID issues isn’t a sure-thing to come back in 2022.

Highest-ranked available Big Ten team, if it’s not the Big Ten Champion.

4. Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs Pac-12

Tampa Bay Bowl Association officials today release the new logo and name for the bowl game in Tampa known previously as the Outback Bowl. The "Tampa Bay Bowl" will continue the game's long tradition of playing in the New Year's Day lineup of college football bowl games. The Bowl's TV Network partnership with ESPN and its conference affiliations with the SEC and Big Ten/ACC remain unchanged.

"We are thrilled about our new Tampa Bay Bowl logo and name which is a reflection of our 36-year relationship with the vibrant Tampa Bay region as one of the most exciting and hospitable destinations of any college bowl game," notes Tampa Bay Bowl Chair Rita Lowman. "We look forward to continuing the Tampa Bay Bowl's positive impact on college football and the Tampa Bay community, both economically and by showcasing our region nationally and internationally. The Tampa Bay Bowl will continue to impact local charities through the game's Charitable Giving Initiative which has given more than $3 million in donations to local charities since 2016."

"We recognize and appreciate the past sponsorship of Outback Steakhouse as we continue to move forward," added Lowman.

I say they should play the bowl games in the home stadium of last year's winner. The Rose Bowl this year (or next year, I guess, technically) should be played in Columbus. And I don't know what the other results were, but I think you get the picture.

Pinstripe Bowl announces new naming sponsor for 2022 game

The Pinstripe Bowl has a new sponsor and official name. The game is now known as the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl. New Era was previously the game’s title sponsor.



The game is still set to be a Big Ten-ACC clash on Dec. 29 at Yankee Stadium in New York.
