Since 1978 (when I-AA was created), Big Ten losses to I-AA/FCS teams:

Northwestern 17, New Hampshire 34 (9-09-2006)

Indiana 28, Southern Illinois 35 (9-16-2006)

TSUN 32, Appalachian St. 34 (9-1-2007)

Minnesota 21, North Dakota St. 27 (10-20-2007)

And the Goofers almost pulled the daily double by only beating that NDSU team 10-9 at home the year before.


27 years and it never happened, then it happens 4 times in 2 years. Tells me scholarship limits/more good players today than ever concept is legit and that the B10 has been at an all time low in terms of overall strength the past 2 years.
