I watched the 2007 bcs final at a bar in Seattle completely full of Ohio State fans.
And im absolutely certain there was another bar full of LSU fans.
These people are so sheltered.

Auburn football should consider a move to the ACC
If Auburn were to decide to move to the ACC, they’d instantly become the biggest brand in that conference. With the lack of competition in the ACC compared to the SEC, Auburn football would have a legitimate chance to run it year in and year out.
Imagine telling recruits you can play in front of the most passionate fans in the world but not have to play 20% of the ranked teams in a given season. How could a high school kid say no to such a proposition?
I know many of the traditionalists will hate the idea of Auburn, a founding conference member, moving out of the SEC to avoid battles against the best of the best, but that would ultimately lead to more exposure from the country to winning football; thus, improving the Plains’ brand after the fanbase’s in-fighting has become weaponized by external sources.
In life sometimes you have to make unpopular decisions to get what is best for you. Auburn moving down to the ACC would be like eating Synsepalum dulcificum: it’d be something that tastes sweet after you expected it to be sour.

Auburn should consider relegating themselves

Sounds perfect for the Barners. The ACC is every not elite but wish we were fan base’s fall back chick.
Former Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall, 31, was arrested last week in Columbus, Georgia, and faces a gun possession charge, according to Muscogee County jail records.
Jail records state Marshall was booked into a Columbus-area jail at 4:16 p.m. on Nov. 8.
Both Marshall and 32-year-old woman Lanequa Breshay Borders who was in the car with Marshall were arrested and both face a charge of “possession of sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, dangerous weapon, or silencer,” according to jail records.
Marshall quarterbacked Auburn in the 2013 and 2014 seasons including leading Auburn through a magical 2013 year that ended with a loss in the BCS National Championship game against Florida State. Marshall was the quarterback for the famous “Prayer at Jordan-Hare” pass to wide receiver Ricardo Louis to beat Georgia in 2013.
Marshall initially played at Georgia in 2011 before he was kicked off the team for an undisclosed “violation of team rules.” He then went to Garden City Community College before transferring to Auburn.
He had a career in the NFL from 2015-2018, and has been a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League since.
Marshall is listed on the Roughriders online roster as of Nov. 12.
