i’m home now.

next jobsite will either be lower Georgia or the kool-aid corner of Arkansas.

Former Auburn football star Bo Jackson is a strong believer in Deion Sanders and was asked this week if he would support the Jackson State head coach being hired at his alma-mater this season, should the opportunity present itself. Sanders is 7-0 this season and 20-5 as a head coach at Jackson State since taking over prior to the 2020 season.

"Deion could coach anywhere in the country — college or professional level— that he wants to," Jackson said in an interview with USA Today. "It’s just whether or not the organization is ready for Prime. You can look at what he’s done for Jackson State and the short amount of time he’s been there. He has the charisma. He has what it takes because Deion, like myself, we were coached old-school and that’s the way he’s coaching his players. You’re seeing the results."

Earlier this fall, Sanders said he will entertain Power Five job offers should the right opportunity present itself. During a sit-down interview with 60 minutes, Sanders welcomed the idea of leaving Jackson State for a bigger job and has previously been labeled a "name to watch" at Georgia Tech and potentially Auburn, should the SEC job open this season.

"I’m going to have to entertain it," Sanders told CBS News when asked about Power Five interest. "Yes, I’m going to have to entertain it, straight up. I’d be a fool not to."
