We also want to know what you think will happen vs. Michigan State on Saturday night.

Throughout the Ohio State football season, we will be asking and answering questions about the team, college football, and anything else on our collective minds of varying degrees of importance. If you have a question that you would like to ask, you can tweet us @LandGrant33 or if you need more than 280 characters, send an email HERE.

The MAC and MAC-adjacent portion of the Ohio State football schedule is now over and it is time to turn our collective attention to the ever-expanding, somehow now bigger Big Ten. While much of the early season attention has been on OSU’s Oct. 12 trip to Eugene, Oregon, the Buckeyes will open up their conference slate by visiting Sparty in East Lansing, Michigan on Saturday night.

But, before they do, we have our weekly fan survey to take the temperature of Buckeye Nation. This week, there are two questions, first, we want to know where you stand on the first three games. In typical Buckeye Nation fashion, there is a portion of the fanbase that believes that Ryan Day’s team is destined for college football immortality, while another subsection believes that they are headed for disaster. Where do you fall on this confusing continuum?

Then, as always, we want your prediction for Saturday’s margin of victory against Michigan State.

So, scroll down to the survey questions below the article and make your picks. If you want to elaborate or provide an alternative answer, feel free to do so in the comments at the bottom of the page.

Question 1: How are you feeling about Ohio State’s non-conference performance?

Ohio State has outscored its first three opponents by a combined score of 157 to 20. But those three opponents didn’t exactly represent high-quality competition.

The Buckeyes are No. 2 in total defense nationally, No. 4 in national scoring, and the only team in the top seven in both rushing and passing defense. But they didn’t generate much of a pass rush vs. Marshall

OSU’s offense is No. 3 in sports scored in FBS and No. 5 in total yards. But they haven’t faced a defense in the top 85 nationally yet.

There are plenty of reasons to feel great about what we’ve seen from Ohio State through three games, but just as many reasons to be unsure. So, we want to know how you are feeling as OSU heads into its first Big Ten matchup of the season.

Question 2: What will the margin of victory be in Saturday’s game against Michigan State?

Despite Michigan State seemingly exceeding expectations thus far in the season, the Vegas bookmakers have installed Ohio State as 24.5-point favorites for Saturday night’s game in East Lansing. Surprisingly, SP+ predicts that the Buckeyes will win 35-6 and cover — the gold-standard college football analytics model generally undersells OSU’s ability to cover.

Over their last eight matchups — since that fateful 2015 debacle — the Buckeyes have outscored Sparty 320-77 for an average score of 40 to 9.6. Will it be more of the same, or will Jonathan Smith’s squad continue to subvert preseason assumptions about what it is capable of achieving this year? Let us know what you think in the survey just on the other side of the line and text below.
