Well, well, well.
Welcome back offense. Where’d ya go defense?
Seems to be the continuing saga of the Buckeyes football season. Eventually both sides are going to start playing complete games at the same time. When that happens, watch out.
In reality, the defense needs to stop giving up the big play. It’s OK to bend. But the Silver Bullets have been breaking a tad too much.
That said, I was quite pleased with what I saw.
A win: Never really in doubt.
At least 50 points: Man O man was it close.
No stupid sh, uh, stuff: Had a roughing the QB and another that was offset by a UM penalty.
Shutout: Not even close.
Here how the rest of tBBC staff fared:
Mali Buckeye
Fabulous parting gifts: Almost gave Randy Edsell a 50-point parting gift.
Many crappy returns: Never a threat.
NFS: Had three. Maybe If you wouldn’t mention it, it wouldn’t happen?
Passing fancy: Nearly 300 passing yards from Cardale Jones, 317 total.
Unhappy Patrick: Happy Patrick.
Mike
Offensive aggression: Slowly but surely Jones is starting to look like he did last season.
Johnnie on the spot: Who?
Fast and furious: Didn’t see a ton of the game but I think things were flowing.
Please put a complete game together on both sides of the ball: Nope. But it wasn’t as bad as the score looked. Two big plays and a short field led to the three touchdowns.

50 points: How about 49 and they owe you one?
Shutout: Surely you jest.
300: Well, he was a third of the way there.
Just for Mali: Dance Dance got one touch.
WVa Buckeye
Ratings schmatings: I think if we look at the big picture, OSU took care of business. Just need to shore up the big-play defense.
Run. Run. Run: Had 182 on the ground total and a nice number from JT Barrett, who is relevant again.
Pass. Pass. Pass: They did. They did. They did.
