Didn’t that just suck?
I know it’s not the end of the word, especially since it’s *ichigan week. But I just don’t feel up to talking about the game against *SU. So let’s just move on to the recap of how everything we wanted to see never happened.

Scott
A decisive win: FailMali Buckeye
Big names in big games: The big names never showed up. Mostly because they weren’t given the chance by horrible play calling
Cooked: OSU’s national championship chance.
Nothing crazy: Other than the play calling
Braxton’s swan song: He deserved to go out better. He’s meant too much to this program for him to be cast aside during the game.
That thing: Well, there were no false starts by OSU.
Heisman moment: Not in this house.
Standing ovation: The seniors and other departing players got their pregame props.
WVa Buckeye
Rock the Shoe: MSU fans sure did at the end.
Feed Zeke: Poor guy was starving.
Out of the ordinary: I would like to say the play calling was, but it’s been that way most of the year.
Silver Bullets: Defense wasn’t as bad as my brother was saying during the game. But there were bonehead plays by some individuals that shocked us all.
Michael
Show who is the best: Hate to beat a dead horse but it wasn’t us.
Weather the storm: OK, so there is the one positive.
Last game in the shoe: Fans gave the departing players a lot of love.
Cook Connor: He simmered on the sideline.
Braxton Miller: As previously mentioned, he deserved better.
Mike
W: L.
Supremacy: By whom? Sparty’s coaches? Yup.
Pride: They left it all on the field, but I don’t think they were given the right tools to succeed.
No binoculars: Don’t think they were looking ahead. But we are looking ahead to see who the new offensive coordinator will be next year. Coach Meyer has to make a change there and with the offensive line coaching staff.
A call to arms: Passing game was never a factor.
No Injuries: Only our Buckeye pride.
Ken
A win: A loss.
No injuries: Well there’s that.
No turnovers: OSU held on to the ball.
No penalties: Too many offside calls.
Patrick
Don’t let history repeat itself: It did. Again.
Hit Cook: Didn’t need to.
Heisman moment: Again, not in this house.
Throw: Still waiting.
Brandon
Play makers making plays: Never had the opportunity.
Fitting farewell for Braxton: Fans showed their appreciation. Offensive coordinators didn’t.
Barrett taking control: Nope. He looked like he did against Virginia Tech last season.
Defensive line dominance: Sparty’s run game gashed the OSU D-line.
Protect the edge: It wasn’t the edge. It was right up the middle.
Joe
Connor Cook Gets Less than 200: He got zero. Great job defense!
J.T. Barrett throws Over 25 Times: Even with the new math 16<25.
The Buckeye Defense Holds MSU To Ten Points: Would have been nice, wouldn’t it have been?
Stop the Fake Field Goal or Punt: Never came into play.
A loud shoe: The fans really didn’t have much of a reason.
JT returns to form: Meh.
Defense, clap clap, defense: Can we hold Sparty to 17 or less points and 250 total yards or less? The defense was dang close. Too many offside penalties at crucial times.
