Need some advice here,

my old 360 just red ringed and its dead, and since its outside the warranty, I'm thinking of just buying a new one. Now here's the question, should I just get the arcade, or the new slim? I really want the slim, but the problem lies is I have another 360 at my apartment (I have an apartment where I attend college, and travel back home almost every weekend just a hour away), and since I always just brought my hard drive with me when I went back home, I didn't have to do anything. And since the slim is internal, I won't be able to do that.

So I figured, if I get the slim, it would be a pain when I come back home to have to recover my GT everytime, and on top of that, not have any of the saved progress I have on my other 360. So should I just get the arcade to make it easier? If I didn't want the slim so much it would be an easy decision. Thanks for any feedback

You could put your GT and saves on a thumb drive. Those files don't take up that much space. The only thing that really takes up space memory wise is DLC and when you save the game to the HDD (for faster loading).

Well if going back and forth and still being able to play/take your HDD with you if a big deal...then get the arcade. Otherwise go for the new slim 360. I believe there is software or something you can use to transfer your files from the old 360's to the new slim 360's. The arcade will cost alot less then if you went for a slim, if price is an issue.

Personally, i'd probably just get the arcade...an xbox 360 is an xbox 360, slim or not.
