Uh, where the fuck was the victim and her family all this time? Why no inquiries by them as to why this guy was never put in prison? Also, is there a statute of limitations for rape?

kidnapping and rape of a 16 yr old eh? he would have been around 28 at the time. was this an actual kidnapping and rape or transporting a minor across state lines and having sex with a girl who was below the age of consent? not saying that wouldn't still be wrong. but would explain why the victim and/or family didn't pursue the sentence.
