Apache running on a Windows OS

Does anyone have any experience running Apache on a Windows platform? I've used it on Linux, but I'm looking into doing a project in which I'll need a server (localhost only) and I have to use a MS OS. Is it pretty much the same as far as set-up and operation?

Thoughts, comments, suggestions are welcome...

Yes, it is the same. You can load Apache under Win-32 either as a service or as a user level application, and you can run PHP, PERL, and MySQL through it as well. Works very well. I've installed it on several XP Pro company laptops for software demos.
