Anyone planning on going to the Buckeye / Wisconsin game?

I went in 2003 with my dad, who is in his 60s. We didn't say a word to anybody, but were provoked so many times...even after the game, that it wasn't worth it. I'll watch it from home, and travel to Illinios instead.

BUT...their student section is the best in the Big Ten.. I've been to all the Big Ten stadiums. PSU and Wisky stand out so far above the rest.

If I go, I'm growing my beard out. They respect beards in the North country.

I went to several games at Camp Randall when I lived up there and Wisconsin fans are the worst fans I've ever seen... not just to OSU fans but to any other fans that comes in. At the 2003 game vs OSU I literally put a Wisconsin "student" in a headlock after he got in my wife's face after they scored a touchdown.... after that he moved to the other side his group not to be heard from again. I can usually keep my cool, especially if I'm at another teams stadium but those people are just assholes.

Here's a tip for anyone going: if you walk past ANY apartment buildings on the way to the stadium keep on the look out for flying beer cans off the balconys... they will come at you from all angles and sometimes will be full, unopened cans...
