Anyone have an Internal Audit

craigblitz

Juice, Full of Juice!!
Man, this past Friday I was sent communication that I was randomly chosen for an audit. They needed to see receipts and credit card statements from November - January. Thankfully, I spent a couple days during X-Mas break gathering everything and getting them into folders and so on. I also made sure I had the right documentation for when adjustments were made etc. So hopefully this will all be settled today.<O:p</O:p

Has anyone else gone through this? Even though I had everything in order it still is a little stressful to say they least.

Sounds like an ID theft scam. You sure it's legit?

Update - Man you think receipts and credit card statements would be good enough...hahah wrong. I am being questioned on dates that are like 2 days off and so on that I have entered into my expense report... Damn, you would hope that if charges - receipts = 0 they would be happy. I did find out that I was not in compliance for one thing but nothing major... I think (err hope) Maybe I should start looking into how well I look in bright orange :-).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

My expenses are audited constantly. It's not a big deal if you're smart enough to keep a file for yourself with a spreadsheet and all of your receipts and report all of your expenditures as soon as possible. The only idiots who get called into "the office" at my place are the ones who put off reporting expenses for a couple days.
