Not necessarily directed at you, but more a statement regarding the bold… It would be great if people realized that it’s the coaches’ expectations (and plan) that matter… not our expectations.

I perceive that to be a standard lower than which I chose to live. Not trying to be an ass, but I don’t have time or space in my world for the kind of negative BS that a lot of people carry. Here or elsewhere. Frankly, I feel sorry for a lot of people who call themselves fans. The negativity and seemingly miserable existence that some have would literally send me to a grave (blood pressure and an ascending aortic aneurysm).

I presume that what I write is consumed by the people I write about (even though I know it isn’t) and I try to be level headed and level worded enough that I would share those words with those people if it came to it. Is it an example for someone to follow? Don’t care. It’s the standard by which I chose to live.

So, does it matter to the team? If you listen to them, there’s enough of a chatter out there that it gets back to them. I chose to not add to the chatter…

So, does it matter to the fans? Yeah, I would say that the negativity takes away from my personal enjoyment. Good news is that I can regulate it by not coming around here.

Your personal standard is your business. Other people have different ways.

Wagging your finger at other adults like a Sunday school teacher admonishing them for failing to live up to your standard (which is of course the only right way to be a "real" fan) requires a shocking, but not all that uncommon, level of self importance.
