COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State swept a doubleheader against Akron, 5-0 in Game 1 and 8-1 in Game 2, Wednesday at Bill Davis Stadium. Game 1
Ohio State scored a run in each of the first five innings to build a 5-0 lead to support a solid pitching performance from Dean Wolosiansky. Wolosiansky pitched a complete game shutout to improve his record to 2-5 on the year. He scattered five hits, struck out four and walked only one.
