Adolphus Washington a 2015 Sporting News 1st team All-American while Joey Bosa is not

Washington had a solid senior season but Bosa's repeated snubs are getting old to say the least.
Ohio State's Adolphus Washington had a nice little season. Though his OSU career ended in ingnominy, he should still have a bright professional career in front of him at the next level.
The folks at Sporting News apparently thought enough of his 2015 that they've immortalized him in Buckeye lore, making him a 2015 first team All-American. Any Buckeye named to a reputable outlets first team All-American team gets a tree planted in their honor Buckeye Grove just outside Ohio Stadium.
Washington finished his final year in Columbus with seven tackles for a loss and four sacks. He completed the season with 49 total tackles, 23 solo. He also forced a fumble and put himself into the Piesman mix with a pick 6 early in the campaign.
Washington is joined by junior safety Vonn Bell, who'd already been named a first team All-American by other outlets. Lineman Taylor Decker was named to the Sporting News All-American second team.
Perhaps most curiously, Ohio State's best defender Joey Bosa was relegated to yet another second team All-America team as well. Though Bosa's stats were far from elite in 2015 -- he was double or triple teamed literally every snap he played -- arguably no Buckeye had a more defined impact on either side of the ball this year. Bosa will have to settle for being a Top 5 NFL Draft pick and one of the best ends to ever have suited up in the scarlet and gray.
Congrats to all three Buckeyes on outstanding 2015s.
