This happens to me constantly (like virtually every single time I'm online):
"The Adobe Flash plug-in has crashed. :("

My HP is only about 1 year old, 3+ processor speed, 1 TB memory. I'm usually on Firefox.

I'm on WOW wifi with 15 megs.

I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling. Just checked today for an update & downloaded it.

Still happening.

Short of throwing my pc through the front window, any suggestions?
 
Sometimes it's videos, but often it's just some sidebar ad that's running with animation on a website. I really dislike Google, but if it is a browser issue, would I have better luck with Chrome?

@Deety I have this same problem using Opera.. when videos or sidebar ads are on a webpage, sometimes the Flash Player crashes and "hangs up" the rest of the page from loading and freezes the browser. Will cleaning the Flash Player Cache help with this problem?

Probably, but the problem will likely come back from time to time.

I do run into this even with Chrome sometimes, but that's usually when I'm running all sorts of related stuff at the same time. It seems to build up over time; when the computer restarts, it's good to go.

I primarily use Linux (Ubuntu) and I have never had the Flash Player issue in Firefox (or Chrome) like is common in Firefox in Windows.
My laptop is set up for dual boot between Win7 or Ubuntu 13.10 and I have the usual Windows problems but Linux is smooth as silk......biggest reason I took the plunge!

There have been a few posts in other threads about getting rid of Flash because of how unsecure it is, so I uninstalled it a few days ago. I was initially concerned that Youtube videos wouldn't play but they play fine and don't blow up like they used to. However, now I can't view any videos on Facebook. Tell me Facebook doesn't post videos in Flash format...

I've had Flash uninstalled and gone for quite some time. It was the cause of virus infections for both my indoor comp and garage comp. I spent hours and hours to fix them. Fuck Adobe. Don't care if a couple vids don't play.

You can view Facebook videos in your browser without Flash. To do so, just put an m in front of the facebook link to use the "mobile" version and it will play just fine. Obviously, not a "fix" but it is a workaround for those that refuse to keep Flash installed.
