Please tell me someone here can translate what this "crazy german kid" (some of you have probably seen this already, so I offer that as a heads up) is screaming.

My favorite part is when he's laughing maniacally, and clearly talking to the voices in his head. Or maybe it's the end. I don't know -- Vince, Jo (Longwood) and I were all in tears from laughing so hard.

Well, my German is a little rusty, but I think he said something to the effect of: "$77?! $77! It was only $49 last year! $77??, are you serious? No way. No farfegnugen way $77??!!!!! That's it, I'm going back to Bucknuts!!!! $77?! Aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!"

I'm much better at translating written German than spoken (or shrieked), but here's what I think I picked out:

"GO!" (anmach)
"START THE GAME!" (starte das spiel)
"QUICKLY, START!" (schnelle start)
"YES, YES, HAPPEN" (yes, yes, los)

I *think* he said something about Windows (fenster), which leads me to believe that his game kept crashing or something.

A couple english phrases, like "positive thinking" and "the escape came off".

And then, the shrieking.

Oh. My. God. That was beautiful.

I'll have to watch this again later to see if I can get some more, but, like MolGen... I tend to understand German a bit better when it isn't being shrieked...

Anyway, The beginning seemed to be mostly full of exclamations of "Was?" "Anmachen!" "Starte" and "Ich will ____ spielen!" (What!? Go! Start! I want to play _____.) (no idea what he said he wants to play...)

After a bit of shrieking and repeating all of that... a few deep breaths, then "Ich sag's dir noch einmal. Los!" (I'll say it to you one more time. Go/Begin!)

Then some more unintelligible shrieking... then "Ach! Was ist das denn? Oh, mein Gott, was ist das _____." (Ach! What is this? Oh, my god... what is this (something... need to listen again). "Ich will spielen! Schnell! Start!" (I want to play. Quickly! Start!)

Then he gets into a chanting, singing "Jetzt geht's los! Jetzt's geht's los!" (Now it's starting / now it's beginning - the verb losgehen - meaning to begin, is often used in this context... jetzt geht es los. Kind of like "here we go" or "game on!")

He then yelled "Spielen, spielen" (play, play) a couple times before bunch more unintelligible howling.

The "positive thinking, einfach (simply) positive thinking" thing cracked me up... then... an extended rant, the only word of which I caught was "Scheisse!" After that was the rant about the escape key... "Der escape Knopf... der Escape Knopf... wo ist er? wo ist er?" (The escape key... where is it?)

Didn't get much out of him talking to the voices in his head, either, other than one of the lines I found funniest, "Ich brauche keine Hilfe." (I don't need any help.) Pretty much degenerated completely after that. I'll watch it again later to see if I can get more. I'm sure the best stuff will be the shriekiest, so will be most difficult to understand.

i think thats one of our server guys... i like how he throws everything off the desk, then starts neatly rearranging things stacking cd's on top of eachother putting the keyboard and mouse in the proper place n such, then starts slamming the keyboard on the desk.

by the by... i think i know why his escape key isn't working :biggrin:

Good catches, Peach. I assumed a couple of the phrases involving English words were all English.

I managed to fill in one blank on further review: "Ich will Unreal Tournament spielen!"

Edit - He throws "Unreal Tournament" in some of the shriekier parts too, now that I'm listening for it.

Also throws in a "geh nach" and "geht nicht" (get over there! don't move!) to his keyboard. :lol:
