Researching the Magic!
Remember the nut who wanted to build the Titanic II? He's at it again! This time, he's trying to get the scientists that cloned Dolly to work with dino DNA...

As such, new reports in a Perth newspaper that suggest that Palmer is attempting to build a real-life Jurassic Park are being met with less skepticism than you might expect.
The Sunshine Coast Daily reports:
The controversial billionaire is rumored to be planning to clone a dinosaur from DNA so he can set it free in a Jurassic Park-style area at his new Palmer Resort in Coolum.
Mr Palmer has, apparently, been in deep discussion with the people who successfully cloned Dolly the sheep to bring his dinosaur vision to life.

Just make sure you don't fill in the DNA with a species that can change gender. Oh and never clone a raptor.

In all seriousness if anyone can ever isolate & sequence dino DNA then navigate the hurdles in successfully cloning one, I would be one of the first people in line to see the final product.

I agree. I am a biology guy, even taught high school Bio for a short while. I always wondered how they would truly "fill in" the missing pieces of genetic material. I don't buy using "similar" living species DNA. Take for example T. Rex. His closes living relative is..... drum role please....... a common chicken. I am guessing that what will put that worry behind them is better recovery techniques of both DNA and RNA sequences.
