Which future Buckeye is your MVP of the week?
Last week, Tuf Borland,and his Bolingbrook (IL) squad might not have won on the field, but the future Buckeye linebacker still picked up a win of sorts. After finishing with 23 total tackles, and a touchdown reception, Borland racked up over 50% of your votes to run away with the Land-Grant Holy Land MVP of the week.
Borland and the rest of the Ohio State verbal commits were back in action over the weekend. Who did enough to take home the week 4 MVP? The poll is open. Let your voice be heard and vote:
Tristen Wallace
On Thursday Wallace showed off his play making abilities through the air and on the ground. Wallace, a four-star quarterback, passed for 260 yards and a touchdown, while also leading the DeSoto (TX) rushing attack with 102 yards, and another score.
Even though Wallace shined under the lights, DeSoto fell to Cibolo Steele, 35-33.
Jake Hausmann
The future Buckeye tight end was one of the only bright spots for Cincinnati Moeller on Friday. Falling to the ultra talented Don Bosco Prep (NJ), Hausmann pulled in 11 receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in the 31-14 Moeller loss.
Demario McCall
Still less than 100%, McCall who has been nursing an ankle injury looked in mid-season form on Friday. In a 23-13 North Ridgeville victory over Olmsted Falls, McCall rushed for 177 yards and scored two touchdowns, per the Chronicle Telegram.
Both of McCall's touchdowns got the crowd on their feet in a hurry. Showing off his exceptional speed, Demario hit pay dirt from 57 and 66 yards out to help lead North Ridgeville to the win.
Austin Mack
On Friday, Mack was a huge part of Bishop Luers' (IN) 42-35 win over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran. Through the air, the OSU wide receiver pledge finished with five receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown. Seeing time in the back field, Mack rushed for 93 yards and two more Bishop Luers scores.
Todd Sibley
The class of 2017 running back had a pretty easy night on Friday against Toledo Woodward. Playing in a limited role in the 49-8 Akron Archbishop Hoban blow out, Sibley carried the ball nine times for 104 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Sibley's play of the night came in the second quarter when he rumbled 48 yards down the field for a Hoban score.
