Which future Buckeye is your MVP of the week?
After rushing for 135 yards and four scores in a 37-0 DePaul Catholic (NJ) win over John Paul XXIII last Friday, class of 2016 Oho State pledge Kareem Walker ran away with the Land-Grant Holy Land MVP of the Week award.
Racking up 50% of your votes, Walker's night was enough to beat out huge games by his soon to be Buckeye teammates George Hill, Tuf Borland, Luke Farrell, and Bruce Judson.
With nearly all the future Ohio State standouts back in action over the weekend, there were once again some very strong performances. Which OSU commit did enough to grab your vote this week? The poll is now open:
Austin Mack
Returning to action after being held out with concussion concerns last week, Mack sure didn't disappoint. Accounting for over 100 total yards of offense and a touchdown, the four-star standout helped lead his Bishop Luers (IN) squad past Fort Wayne Northrop 40-20 on Friday night.
Demario McCall
In his first game of the season, McCall was one of the only bright spots for North Ridgeville on Friday. Taking on Michigan State commit Joey Bachie and a feisty Berea-Midpark squad, McCall finished with 100 yards rushing and scored all three of North Ridgeville's touchdowns in the 41-21 loss to the Titans.
Todd Sibley
Bouncing back from a less than stellar game last week, Sibley showed why he's considered one of the top junior running backs in the class of 2017.
In a 27-0 runaway win over Youngstown Ursuline on Friday, Sibley carried the ball 31 times for 154 yards and a touchdown.
Tuf Borland
Playing both sides of the ball, the future Buckeye linebacker left it all on the field on Friday. In the 38-21 Bolingbrook (IL) loss to Orland Park, Borland hauled in a touchdown reception from his tight end spot.
On defense, Borland seemed to always find himself around the ball, finishing with an outrageous 23 total tackles, according to Bill Kurelic of Bucknuts.
Tristen Wallace
After falling to IMG Academy (FL) last week, Wallace led his DeSoto (TX) squad to a solid win on Saturday afternoon. Taking on South Oak Cliff, DeSoto rolled to an easy 38-9 victory over the outmatched Bears.
Showing off his dual threat abilities, the class of 2016 signal caller completed 16 of his 19 attempts for 209 yards and a touchdown, while also chipping in over 40 yards and two more scores on the ground for DeSoto.
