You think the NCAA would want that investigation to wrap up as well before ruling?

They don't need it too. Not really. IF they got everything the FBI got from those firms that is....

Just to be super clear... the Weiss case is an open, active, and ongoing FBI investigation. It is not subject to any current NCAA investigation and is not covered in the current UM NOA.
I believe the NCAA has been notified and briefed at least once, given the nature of the alleged crimes.
Once the FBI investigation is complete and moves into an indictment phase, then the NCAA would be able to pickup the football - so to speak - to begin their own action.
