2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

And just when the acceptance phase hits they’ll probably have to go through the Weiss investigation.

Fuck em…
I’ve been hating those bastards for over 50 years now. I’m don’t think they will ever get to an acceptance phase.

They can stay irrational longer than anyone not named @BB73 can stay alive.

The COI hearing is June 6-7 with the decision being handed down sometime in mid to late July. Relax.
I've been relaxing for 18 months.
The NCAA made up their minds within a week when Cam Newton was in trouble.
The NCAA made up their minds within 8 months when Ohio State was in trouble.
The NCAA made up their minds within 8 months when Penn State was in trouble.
C'mon, NCAA. Chip chop chip.

(Then they later decided they did the Penn State thing wrong, so they reversed themselves.)
Alright, fine, I'll relax.. but this better be worth it.

The denial "phase" has been nearly perpetual for them. There better be a damn good reason for how long this is taking. @Zurp brings up a great point, the NCAA is taking their pretty ass time to issue their ruling and punishment. I hold out hope that the wait will be worth it, I am just feeling like it won't be. Kick these cheating bitches to the moon, teams like OSU, USC, etc. have had to endure that and now it is the skunk weasels turn.

My interpretation of why this is taking so long is simply that, unlike the other cases, UM is fighting every step.

I can only hope that this will lead to the equivalent of old school police work. That is, you can cooperate and get in the cruiser, or someone will "help" you get in the cruiser.

Whether it's batons or dildos, it's time for some whack-a-mole.

Exactly

While SEC schools never cooperated in the same way that Ohio state did, none of them were ever this ridiculous about it

Cops are known to say, “we can do this the easy way or the hard way”. The cheaters are like the arrogant twits that make me select “don’t recommend this channel” when YouTube offers me body cam footage of their arrest. It’s cringey at best to see some princess who has never been told “no” defy legitimate authority figures who are being far too patient with her. It makes me want to see her get clubbed (which is when I know I need to select “don’t recommend this channel”).

When a delusional institution that already claims to be more than what they are starts acting like that princess…. I don’t just want to see her get clubbed. I want to see them bury the body in half a dozen shallow graves

Isn't this a odd time of year to be giving coaching promotions and raises?

Are they trying to get things into place before the shit hits the fan?

Tony Alford got a extension AND a raise

I've never heard of "no contest" in this sense.
I agree with your hierarchy, but they won't be forfeits. I don't have any insider information, but I feel very confident in my statement that they won't be forfeits.
I also feel confident that a ruling of "no contest" will not be made for any game.
All of the cheaters' wins from 2021 to 2023 will be vacated, only.
Hmmmmm, would that mean that playoff games played in 2024 would count?

Are you talking about the playoff games in 2024 that were right after the end of the 2023 season?
If so, then no. When I said "2021 to 2023" I was referring to the entire seasons - not the calendar years.
They really should end the calendar the day after the Super Bowl. It would make these conversations a lot more clear.

That Florida team looked like they were playing a completely different sport than us. That game changed things. You could feel it. The spread was no longer a gimmick offense smaller programs used to close the gap. It was the future.

it wasn't their offense. it was the fact that their D-line completely dominated the game.
