My impressions so far from watching The Opening (keep in mind I have not got a chance to watch all of it yet and none of the bigs unfortunately):
1) Austin Mack is downright dominant and will compete for a starting spot the second he gets on campus. Physical gifts aside (and he has plenty), his football IQ and technique is so impressive. Catches the ball away from his body, gets in and out of his breaks on a dime, great route runner, and extremely good body control catching the ball. Still think he compares a ton to Michael Floyd. One of the best in the country and I don't say that from a biased standpoint, many others outside the OSU circle are singing the same song after the last two days.
2) Jake Hausmann is very comfortable catching the ball and showed the ability to strech the field and catch the ball in traffic. QBs targeted him a ton and obviously wanted to get him the ball. I think he can be a star here and we will have to get him the ball.
3) Benjimen Victor still remains my #1 WR in the country. A guy that size should not be so fluid. Catches the ball away from his body incredibly well and positions his body with that frame to make it impossible for DBs to get to the ball. Is a threat to catch the ball anywhere on the field.
4) Dwayne Haskins looks every bit as good as he did on film. Extremely efficient, accuracy is elite, and he has shown plenty of arm strength to get the ball into some tight windows. Reminds me a TON of JT. He is going to be a star at Maryland.
