Copyright/DMCA complaints would be sent to youtube.com (or to the hosting company for buckeyeplanet.com) not to him directly. Most complaints like this simply demand the removal of the content and, once the offending content is removed, thats the end of it.

Most hosting providers will kowtow to DMCA complaints immediately.

I used to work for a hosting company and handled our DMCA complaints. I never had to deal with a case that made it to court so I cannot attest to whether or not saying "I do not own this content and it is for entertainment purposes ect" will suffice to have you found 'not guilty'.

We simply booted the user off our servers. The VAST.... VAST majority were blatantly doing things that were illegal and never argued with us, they just found a new host and updated the domain's A Records to go to the new ip.
