Even though Federer defeated Nadal and broke his win streak, I'll be another one of those Nadal apologists "Nadalogists" and defend the anamoly of a clay loss as the result of a tired Nadal after a 4 hour semifinal and the thin air elevation of Madrid. Since 2005 Nada is 150-5 on clay.
The loss last week was just a tease for oddsmakers.
Expect Nadal to become the first man or woman to capture a 5th straight title on the clay of Roland Garros and it won't be as close as the 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 victory over Federer last year.

Roddick only has chances at majors if he trees, and Blake will never adjust to his opponents.(And is an average to slightly above average pro in the first place)

Spoiler alert, since frickin' NBC won't show today's matches until later this afternoon.






Nadal has been defeated by #23 seed Soderling in 4 sets, winning the last set in a tiebreak, 7-2.

Federer has a real chance at history now (the career slam, as well as tying Sampras with 14 majors) - Murray will be his biggest threat. This may also be Murray's best chance at winning a major.

So awesome. Federer should do the damn thing here and do something Sampras never did, but he probably wont. It's a toss up and you still got some good players in Del potro, Monfils, and Murray in addition to Roger.

Not sure when the Federer-Haas match will be airing, so.........























Federer drops first 2 sets, saves a break point in the 3rd set and demolishes Haas in the 4th and 5th. Will face the winner of the Roddick-Monfils match.
