I felt bad for Serena's last opponent. She was so impacted by the heat, she couldn't even keep her balance between serves, and was staggering around. Rough way to go out after winning the first set against the 2 seed. :(

Good catch, Saw that also, Azarenko commented in the post match interview that illness was prior to the match, but heat exhaustion caught up to her in the 2nd set much like Djokovich v. Roddick. She played her heart out until she hit the wall in set 2. Her 1st set play was steady enough to cause an upset of Serena in the quarters however.

Serena was dominant in the final, knocking off Safina 6-0, 6-3 in 59 minutes. Which is 4 hours and 15 minutes less than Nadal's semifinal match.
