Curlin, above, and Hard Spun will be the only horses to compete in all three Triple Crown races in '07.

NEW YORK -- Preakness winner Curlin was made the 6-5 favorite Wednesday for the $1 million Belmont Stakes, with the filly Rags to Riches the third choice at 3-1 in a field of seven 3-year-olds.
Curlin will leave from the No. 3 post position under Robby Albarado, and will attempt to become the third horse in seven years to capture the Preakness and Belmont. Point Given in 2001 and Afleet Alex in 2005 won two-thirds of the Triple Crown after failing to win the Kentucky Derby.

Hard Spun, second in the Derby and third in the Preakness, was the second choice at 5-2 and took the No. 6 post at Wednesday's post position draw.

Wildandcrazy is my early pick (he's finished very strong in his last few races). Tiago is another horse that can finish. I love Curlin, but 6-5 is no fun IMO. Hard Spun couldn't finish 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 how is he going to go 1 1/2? Cross him off. Rags to Riches is an interesting story. A filly that has dominated so far this year. I haven't seen her past performances yet so I can't really comment. This race is so difficult to handicap becuase it is so long. From an entertainment stand point, its kinda shitty that SS isn't racing.

Probably not. The guys I would go with aren't wild about racing and with SS not even racing I'm not that into it myself. That and there is a pub crawl on the upper east side:biggrin: The Breeder's cup is in NJ this year. I may try to go to that in October.
