The Nuuuuuuge is named for Mike Nugent, the greatest place kicker in Buckeye history. Nugent was a two-time All American (2002, 2004) and the recipient of the 2004 Lou Groza Award. The winner of the 2006 Nuuuuuuge Award as the nation's best place kicker goes to Arthur Carmody of the Louisville Cardinals. Congratulations, Arthur!
