Well I went to see Robbie last night. Two things i would like to point out, Westerville North is not very good (being polite), and thanks to the meninigitas deaths no one was there.

I saw him warm up and he seemed pretty gimpy hoobling a little bit. He threw a very tight spiral ball with a high release point. Once the game had started he showed up with a ankle brace, which was quickly spatted over and then after St. x's first poss the other ankle was spatted.

This kid has decent speed and good mechanics, BUT his footwork is terrible he only set his feet 3 or 4 times (all completions), his coaches would sprint him out and run guys deep leaving him throwing across his body 30, 40, 50 yards down field on a dead run. These balls were not caught, but on a saturday i would have been all over the wrs. They never ran come backs or curls which is what i expected with robbie sitting in the pocket. Though he has the armstrength to throw the out to the far side of the field from the opposite hashes (he acctaully over throw it once on a dead line), also had the vision and field presence to check down to his 2nd and 3rd options (very rare in hs)

He didnt get to throw much bc the game was never in question, also had a rushing td along with his td pass, my guess would be about 50% on 16 passes for 175

From what i saw he is a real good player who may be too good for his peers, he doesnt have anybig time skill players who have good hands, everyone of his balls was catchable by a d 1 caliber player, he under/over threw a few balls but if there werent 5 9 pimply kids out there who knows what he would have done, unlike brady quinn he didnt have other big time talent like neduwke and such.

size wise he was the tallest player out there and very physical, i would say his height is pretty close to legit bc he was almost as tall as myself

overall real solid player, but needs some coaching and technique work and will get it with atleast 2 years at osu before he plays
