BP will keep track of HS performances of student-athletes that tOSU is recruiting for the 2005 class. Hopefully this can be a community project. Feel free to send me a PM or add additional info below that might have been missed. I will give credit to whoever posts or sends the info first.

Tim Conner rushed 22 times for 148 yds
Arvell Nelson was 11/27 for 261yds, 2TD's (63 yards to Raymond Small and 68 yards to Daven Jones) & 1 int.
Freddie, Jamario and Curtis Smith had sacks. Lenix had five.
Jr. Raymond Fisher has a 65 yd kickoff return.

The Tarblooder D was the main force in the game , completely shutting Mentor down. Lots of big hit as Glenville's D was simply punishing Mentor. However once again WAY TO MANY PENALTIES. Glenville had at least 150 yds in penalties, and still put up 29. However overall just a good game by Glenville.

OH DE Antwon Hight, DB Brad Jones and RB Ryan Brinson Canton McKinley
Brinson touched the ball on five of McKinley’s first six plays, gaining 35 yards and scoring on an 8-yard run. He carried just twice more, finishing with 53 yards. He also contributed on defense, playing safety and helping the Bulldogs allow 21 total yards.
Jones scored on a 27yd TD pass.

Chambers caught five passes, 2 TD's (24 and 61 yards) from Doug Snider, Walsh's quarterback, for 182 yards.
Snider was 6-for-10 for 194 yards and the two touchdowns.

King missed some action in the first half with cramps on a hot and muggy night but still had 152 yards on 15 carries, scoring on runs of 9 and 60 yards. King played only one series in the second half against Central Catholic last night because of cramps. He finished with 159 yards on 19 carries and two first-half touchdowns.

Two plays after Troy went up 19-15, Trojan defensive tackle Todd Denlinger nailed Coffman quarterback Josh Febus, forcing a fumble.

Went to see Pollard tonight, I was not very impressed by him. 6 ft 5 i think is a stretch I would guess he is a 'medical' 6ft 3. Good feet, but tired as the game went on. I talked to a guy who said he had some injuries and has only been practicing for about a week. That would explain it, but the whole O line as a team was big.

#1 WR J Sharps I believe looks to be a real player, dropped two early but made some great plays. He is HUGE listed at 6ft 6 seems to have good speed and instincts. This kid is a player, I also heard that he was a dublin middle schooler so maybe he brought his a+ game.

Sharps i think maybe a sleeper, if anyone has any info on this kid id like to see it. maybe not osu materia,its hard to telll, but hes good-MAC atleast id say.

#14 Kicker Nick Goss booted three or four back through the endzone, kicks were low but hard, real good leg.

#2 Rocco Pentello QB and saftey, coaches son i believe good arm made some real bad decsions but a real hard player helluva a hitter at saftey, defensively reminded me of #27 on lancaster last year(the name is slipping me).

For scioto I they had a kid crum #75 who is tall listed at 6ft 8 and seems to be close to that, lean, thin legs, decent feet weighing 250. Hes a junior.

#1 Scott, explosive powerful, quick and fast,BUT 5ft 5 is what he is listed at, maybe that.

Game wise pretty good, scioto won, South has a good team but gave up. It was a typical early season games lost of turnovers. South y muffed a punt which scioto recovered, but returned a int for a td and dropped another one that was a sure thing. I think both teams had two picks -dont hold me too it. The thing that suprised me is scioto scored with about 6 mins to go and south quit allowing two more tds.

OH QB Robbie Shoenhoft St. Xavier and OL Alex Boone St. Ed
Schoenhoft was forced to leave in the third quarter with an ankle sprain. He didn't return but said he expects to be back next week.
Schoenhoft had a 73 TD pass in the first quarter but finished just 4-of-11 passing for 89 yards.
St. Ed's outrushed the Bombers, 250 yards to 95, behind an offensive line anchored by Alex Boone.

OH Safety Adam Myers-White Hamilton
Hamilton’s lone score came late in the third quarter when Adam Myers-White ran 6 yards around right end for a touchdown. Myers-White took a big hit, though, as he crossed the goal line, and he left Nippert Stadium on crutches.
He sprained his ankle but should be good to go for next week.

OH WR Brian Hartline, QB Mike Hartline (JR) and TE/LB Brandon Long all from Canton Glen Oak
Brian Hartline was returning a punt in second quarter when he was tackled hard near the sideline. He broke both the fibula and tibia, and had surgery Saturday night.
Mike Hartline, the brother of the injured star, threw for 161 yards including a 24-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Long.

Hampton caught touchdown passes of 51 and 49 yards and finished with 117 yards receiving. On defense Hampton had 3 interceptions.

Rocco Cironi had to be treated for dehydration in the locker room before haltime. Cironi played on offense and defense.
