Ohio State basketball went big with its latest offer in the class of 2014.

That?s big as in Jalen Lindsey (Franklin, Tenn./Christ Presbyterian Academy).

The 6-foot-6 Lindsey is ranked 19th in the ESPN 60.

A five-star small forward, he is a highlight-reel athlete with great size and length. Lindsey has been on the radar of many teams with offers from Cincinnati, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Louisville, Memphis, N.C. State, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Providence, Florida State to go along with the Buckeyes.

With Ohio State?s offer on Thursday, the Buckeyes placed themselves among the leaders in Lindsey?s eyes.

?It?s great. That one means a lot,? Lindsey said. ?It?s a real good school and an honor that they offered me.

?They?re a Final Four team. Their coach is doing a great job with them and they have a great staff. I?d definitely put them as one of my top teams on the list.?
