Alexander is one of the best in the class of 2012. He has the size and feet coaches look for and he is very explosive off the ball. He does a good job of keeping his feet under him and driving the opponent off the ball. He plays in a run heavy offense, so he will need to improve his pass protection and can work on his knee-bend as well. He is a physical OL that wins most battles in the trenches. - Chad Simmons

Ohio State has also offered Vadal Alexander out of Georgia, Jordan Diamond from Chicago, D.J. Humphries out of Charlotte and Richard Webb of Hyattsville, Md. for the class of 2012. They have also shown interest in Kyle Dodson, a 6-6 tackle out of Cleveland Heights, and Taylor Decker, a 6-8 tackle out of Vandalia Butler.

Alexander loaded with offers

OL Vadal Alexander (6-6 310) of Buford, GA has offers from Clemson, USC, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, North Carolina, NC State, Ohio State, and Oregon among others. "He has got offers from just about everybody," said his coach, Jess Simpson. As for junior days, Simpson is unsure of where he plans to visit. "To be honest with you buddy, I don't know where he is going," he said. "He's been invited by a lot fo schools." Simpson says Alexander is wide open in his recruitiment and did not know his interest level with the Tigers or Gamecocks.

The offensive line MVP for the event was Vadal Alexander (Buford, Ga./Buford) while Shelton Day (Indianapolis, Ind./Warren Central) was the defensive line MVP. Murphy and Jamal Marcus (Durham, N.C./Hillside) were declared offensive line and defensive line one-on-one champions for the event.
