OFFERS: Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Clemson, 'Bama, Tennessee, Vandy, Georgia... Leading up to his visit to Georgia Tech, Smith had OSU, Vandy, 'Bama as his leaders & planned on leaving the state for college... After spending time with the GT coaches & seeing how he'd fit in their 3-4 scheme, he's thinking about staying closer to home... Now OSU is the only school outside of the SEC & ACC he's considering...

Smith is interested in getting out of state & lists his top 5 in this order - 'Bama, Clemson, OSU, FSU, & Tennessee... Both of his parents are Clemson alums & his Dad played for the Tigers... Plans to commit prior to the beginning of his senior season & thinks he fits best as an OLB in a 34 defense...

Recruiting is a little crazy but Smith is enjoying the process... He's been talking to the OSU coaches for a while now & anticipated the arrival of his written offer... He was amazed by it as he assumed they recruited mainly in the midwest... He has no preference for position & OSU definately has his interest... No leader, no time table...

Georgia is very deep this year. There should be enough athletes out there that we can swoop in and grab one or two.
Terrence looks like a 5 star to me. Tenacious pursuit and he hits like a ton of bricks. Not sure if this is an accurate comparison but I was reminded of that Dequan Bowers kid that went to Clemson from the 08 class. Just a huge guy that is fast and tackles players like they called his mom fat.

Smith & his family came away from their FSU visit impressed by the campus as well as their plans for future facilities... Says he feels comfortable with the coaches & Coach Craig in particular (played at Auburn with his cousin Stephen Davis)... He's trying to schedule trips to OSU, Tennessee, & Auburn... He wants to leave the state but not so that it's difficult to get home when he wants to... No leader, wants to decide before the season...

Trying to get back to FSU as well as squeeze in visits to Tennessee & 'Bama around his track schedule this Spring... Likes 'Bama a lot & calls them one of his top schools... He's happy with the offers he has & hopes to make a decision by the beginning of Summer... No mention of OSU & no leader given...
