Miami Northwestern junior Lamb likes the Gators
Class of 2010 ESPNU 150 Watch List running back Corvin Lamb told affiliate Web site GatorCountry.com, "I like how Florida uses their running backs and puts them at receiver. I like playing receiver at times. Plus, I really like Florida's high-powered offense."
He continued, "I don't want to pick favorites because I am still in 11th grade, but if I had to choose right now I would pick Florida. But I'm in no rush to make a decision."

Gator Clause

Gator Clause spoke with the father of Miami Northwestern junior running back Corvin Lamb on Tuesday and he indicated that his son is leaning towards committing to the Florida Gators. What's more, Lamb also said that several Miami Northwestern juniors would like to play together in college and a few of them are favoring Florida over Miami.

"I believe this class here at Northwestern will change the trend," Lamb, Sr. said when asked about UM's success recruiting The West. "My son has some friends that all want to play football together. A lot of them are not leaning towards the University of Miami. They are leaning toward Florida."

Miami's going to try and not succeed on this one barring some miracle. Miami is full up at RB and WR and I just don't see another position he'd play there and I could definitely see Florida as a possibility because there is chance by the team Lamb enters Tebow may be gone and the RB position may gain more notoriety and he would have a chance.

I have seen this guy play and he is something. He is bit under the radar compared to other national RBs (and he shouldn't be) because he had to make things happen after he got through the hole against some extremely tough competition in the northern half of the county, and such competition was greater than they faced in the playoffs with exception of their final game (which they unfortunately lost in a close game) in the state final.

Lamb is a kid without a Florida school home. Miami can't fit him in, UF has other targets, and he doesn't fit what FSU wants. He is one to keep an eye on in the future for sure.

He reminds me of Michael Shaw a lot.

I've heard a lot of good things about Corvin, and some not so good things as well. A lot of talent, but he may not be the hardest worker. I suppose genron is the one who can answer that question.

It looks like Corvin has huge legs, good balance, and a great center of gravity. He is able to get up to top speed very quickly, and would excel in the offense we're running right now. Like I said in the Joyner thread: Miami kickers....Don't kick off to anyone!!

genron who is number 10 (WR) for the Bulls?

Corvin weighs in at 185+. Thick legs big body. I clocked him one time at a 4.29 once. They clocked the same time last yr at the underclassmen combine and the dudes didnt believe it so they didnt count it. He ran a 4.30 the next time.

Man thats Wayne Times. Coaches really slipped on him. I told them 2 years ago on a loaded team that he was the best athlete on the sqaud and they thought I was full of it. The boy can flat out play. FIU got a huge steal. And yes that was Ray Ray Armstrong he made look silly. I should put a highlight of him just for old times.
